For a real good grilled chicken salad Mr Rogers is hard to beat. Nice portion and fresh looking lettuce. Staff friendly and very professional.
A locally own restaurant that serves hamburgers, sandwiches, salads, dogs, chicken tenders and breakfast items. They are open for breakfast and lunch only. 4 Stars on Food - I've eaten different salads and burgers and sandwiches. All are good and cooked or prepared fresh. Get the tots or onion rings instead of fries with the meal. Breakfast are basic sandwiches or plates. Good meals to fill your stomach and get you going in the day. 4 Stars on Staff. Fast and friendly. Place has a drive thru but can get really busy in the morning or lunch time. Place has about 20 tables or so with plenty of seating at each table. Ambiance is low key and has a "blue collar" vibe which is GREAT!
Go get your breakfast here. Sausage biscuit with hash browns and a drink for like $5 and it's so good. If it's lunch time grab a burger cause they good to! Nice servers to.
I love the breakfast here. They have everything at great prices. Grits. Pancakes. Sandwiches. Whatever you want. Limited hours for breakfast and lunch so be careful there. The burgers are good too. Only open Monday through Friday so it's a no go on the weekends.
This review is for the drive thru on 2 different visits within 1 week. Great place to get any kind of burger. In fact, this one of the favorites for locals in the area. I've talked to several locals who like this place and they recommended trying it out. Menu items ordered: (2 visits) 1st visit Small chili cheese burger with onions, tater tots, and Pepsi. I enjoyed my burger so much I inhaled it before taking a picture. In fact, I liked so much I told myself that I would order a large chili cheese burger when I came back. 2nd visit Onion rings, chili cheese burger with slaw and onions, and a large Pepsi. Again, I inhaled my burger before I had time to even think about taking a picture. It looked that good. On scene: I took several pictures to capture my experience here. I took a picture of their sign out front, the building, the drive thru, drive thru window, dining room (view from outside), parking lot, and of course their food which included the tater tots, and onion rings. The customer service was fast and friendly using their drive thru service. In deed I would definitely come back if I'm in the area. In summary, great food is to be expected here with plenty of parking. Hopefully, someone else will have time to think about taking pictures of their burgers one day before they eat it so quickly like I did. As for now, it will have to be another day.
I found this place by accident on a ride out west years ago when I decided to jump off of the beaten path and look for something different. I'm glad that I did. Mr Rodgers takes me back in time to a side of the highway burger joint that my mom would treat us to when she has some spare change. I stop in every time I'm passing through, which happens to be tomorrow and I can't wait!
Amazing find in Meridian! I drove by a few times and always saw a drive through line wrapped around the building in the morning. I was intrigued, so we stopped by one day. They make everything from scratch, so there's always a bit of a wait and a line but no one seems to care. It is WELL worth the wait! We've tried the pancakes, cheese grits, biscuits and gravy and biscuit sandwiches. They are all SO good, but my favorite that I come back for every week is the bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit. The biscuit is buttery and light, the bacon is crispy and plentiful, the scrambled egg is cooked perfectly, and the gooey cheese tries to hold it all together! I'm not sure how there are no other reviews yet for this location. Maybe people want to keep it a secret, but sorry to say that the secret is out!! Do not pass by without stopping in for a bite, it's seriously amazing!
